Ramai murid - murid malahan orang dewasa menghadapi masalah tidak dapat memberi fokus mengenai apa yang sedang dilakukan. Bererti, pada satu masa, berbagai - bagai perkara yang hendak dilakukan, sampai satu pun tidak menjadi.
Ada laporan mengatakan manusia mempunyai 50,000 - 60,000 perkara yang difikirkan dalam sehari. Oleh kerana terlalu banyak yang difikirkan dalam kepala, itu yang menjadikan terlalu banyak perkara yang hendak dilakukan kerana apa yang kita fikir adalah apa yang kita akan buat. Jadi, bila terlalu banyak yang difikiran, maka, kita akan hilang fokus.
Jadi, apa yang harus dilakukan?
Permudahkan hidup kita. Gunakan kertas dan pen untuk menulis apa yang perlu dilakukan hari ini. Ini bagaikan kita mengeluarkan apa yang difikiran ke kertas. Menjadikannya ke suatu bentuk nyata dan boleh dipegang.
Fokuskan kepada apa yang ditulis sahaja. Pada kertas tersebut, seboleh - bolehnya hanya mengandungi :
* 3 kerja besar yang perlu dilakukan hari ini,
* 3 kerja sederhana yang perlu dilakukan hari ini
dan
* 3 kerja kecil yang perlu dilakukan hari ini
Rancang dan jadualkan hari anda kerana 10 minit merancang akan menjimatkan banyak masa anda kerana anda telah melakukan perancangan untuk lebih fokus.
